Who is Ke.Ci
Founded in 2019, Kibera Eco-Care Initiative (KE.CI) is a community based organization dedicated to address the urgent issue of waste management in Kibra, one of Africa’s largest informal settlements.
We operate on the principles of environmental sustainability and community empowerment, as we aim to continuously improve sanitation, promote recycling, all while creating job opportunities for local residents.
Our comprehensive approach includes waste collection, regional clean-ups, and partnerships with recycling agencies. Through these efforts, KE.CI converts waste into valuable resources, contributing to a cleaner environment and a more sustainable community.
